DAY 1—MONDAY

Welcome to the Monday Edition of Bookman's Movie Screenshot Game.  For those who have played before, nothing has changed except the need to click your way to this blog and where to post your answers and see the correct titles.

FAQs:

1.   Q: How do we play the game?
A:  I provide the screenshots, and you identify the movies.  Ten screenshots a day for 8 days—Monday through Thursday for two weeks.

2.     Q:  When is post time?
A:   Everything posts at 12:00 Noon U.S. Pacific Time (GMT – 8).  The correct titles for the movies are posted at the top of the next day's game.  On Friday, there is no game but at noon I post the correct titles for Thursday's game.

3.    Q: Where do we post our answers?
A: For each game, post your answers in that game's comments section or in the appropriate thread at FPN.

4.   Q:  How difficult are the screenshots?
A:  Monday's game is the easiest of the week, and the games get tougher as the week progresses.  Thursday's games have been known to cause nausea, irritability, and speaking in tongues.  In each game, the screenshots are roughly ordered from easiest at #1 to least easiest at #10.

All right, are you ready to play?

Then, let's play!  (But first, to avoid your seeing the first screenshot before you're ready, I typically post in this space two movie-related images to act as a buffer zone.)

Remember, a correct guess is just as correct as the titles you're sure of.
